Though I have been busy lately, but I'll always try to fork out time to help the needy. :)
Me and le papacheong did both; donating money, and helped in delivering the food to the elderly.
And even if I had to wake up especially early, it feels especially good knowing, a little effort from me, is able to help/feed many people.
Of course, team work is important; some helped to cut veggies/meat, some helped to cook, some helped to pack, and some helped to deliver the food.
Cutting/Preparing.
Packing.
"Transferring" to our vehicle.
Not only did we prepare and cook food for them, we give them the "groceries" as well, for them to cook themselves.
And if you are wondering where do we deliver it to, Willing Hearts actually have a list of places for us to go.
The elderly waiting for us at the void deck:)
Really really heart warming to see their happy/satisfied faces upon receiving their lunch from us.
It's a feeling I cant express.
Definitely, "shiok" to see the empty baskets back at Willing Heart, knowing that the elderly are enjoying their lunch from us.

Tired and busy afternoon, but nevertheless, a fulfilling one.
