Charlize's Pre School Journey with Alphabet Playhouse

Decided to come up a post on the girl's preschool at Alphabet Playhouse after much considerations.

Just like other parents, I've been visiting different preschool (approximately 5-7) before I've decide to send her to Alphabet Playhouse.

NTUC Little Skool House topped my list, really liked it cos it was air-conditioned and the principal was really friendly and most importantly; well mannered. Not only that, her dad's office is in the same building as her!:)

How can I send my girl to the school if the principal herself cannot portray a good image? Right? And how nice it is if her parent's office is just beside her, RIGHT? lol.

Sad to say, I was on their waiting list for about 9 months (charlize was only 5 months plus back then; and yes, I started shortlisting the school for her even before she turns 1).

HOWEVER, I was so disappointed to know that:

1) They actually "accidentally" lost my database, and that's why I haven't received their call till then, I had to make several calls to remind them.
2) When they finally called me back and offered me a place; I've decided to head down for a "spot check" before really enrolling Charlize.

Thinking that, since most of the parents only visit most of the school on an appointment basis, the teachers/staff could always put  up a show to show us, isn't it?

Ok, Im just being skeptical, maybe. :/

And so, one particular day, (please note, I really did bring down all the necessary documents for registration), I went down, and, I WAS DISAPPOINTED.

1) The receptionist was RUDE.
2) Principal is no where to be around.

3) When I requested to take a look in the school, I realized:

a) There wasn't any interactions, you can hear nothing but children crying.
b) The teachers just stared and showed an utmost irritated face at me while I was observing, WITHOUT trying to pacifying the children.
c) Poor children were crying, naked, waiting for their shower time.

GOSHHHH!

I wouldn't want my precious girl to be in a school whereby the teachers just dont care, and the principal is no where to be found.

"Thank goodness", I thought to myself. Thank god I made another trip down, thank god I did not make an impulsive decision.

My next few options was Mindchamps and Alphabet Playhouse.

However, chosed Alphabet Playhouse in the end.

She had been with them for 6 months already, I was pretty satisfied with them for the first few months..........................

*more to come*........ I shall stop complaining for now, wait for my next post probably? Else, parents will be thinking I'm sucha difficult person. But whatever it is, I still believe they are better than the previous one. ZZzzzZZ

Charlize Is TWO!

Time flies, and I thought I just gave birth yesterday! And she's already 2!

不知不覺中,I'm a Mother for 2 years already!

All the ups and downs, all the crankiness from the girl, all the sleepless nights, I've already come this far; which I dare say; You will never experience this UNTIL you become a Mother; when you need to juggle between work and family, is really not easy. Whenever you want to do something, you ought to put your family first BEFORE you plan for anything ahead.

COMMITMENTS.

COMMITMENTS

AND

COMMITMENTS.

But,

You know what?!

I totally love and enjoy what I'm doing, or rather, WHAT I HAVE to do, though sometimes I do whine a little, I do nag a little.

I felt, I've really grown up. ^^V

Thankyou God for staying with me all this while, Thankyou for giving me what I have now.

ALRIGHT, I shall begin with CHARLIZE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION NOW!
.
.
.
.
.
.

Celebrated with her in her school!

Did not choose to do a "grand" one for her because:

I feel that:

1) This is her birthday celebration, the people that I'm gonna invite is going to be my friends and relatives (again), so why not I just do it in her school where all her little school mates will be there!?

2) She's only 2, I do not wish to pamper her too much with all the 奢侈 stuff. To me, it's necessary to throw a birthday party for her, but it's NOT necessary to do it grand.

3) She may not even know what's happening? Lol? With years to come, I believe, she will ask from us what and how she wants, to celebrate her birthday.

And so, after much considerations, I feel that it's best to do it in her school!

Order a big tart for her! hahaha.

Rushed to her school after my appointment, was SLIGHTLY late and her whole class and teachers were waiting for me! Soooorrrrry! :x

I STILL LOVE KIDS, AND THEY ARE JUST TOO ADORABLE!

When they see the cakes and goodies, they just rushed over to the table. LOLOL.

Love their innocence.

But the girl, was a little "emo" that day which we do not know why!

Her classmates seemed to be more excited than she do! :(

"emo" as she may seem, she still loves eating her tart. LOL.

And! Gotta thank le bestie for the help with the preparation, collection of tart etc that day~

Brought the girl for shopping after her class for her birthday too~ Finally saw her smiles after seeing all the indoor playground and toys!

XOXO.

I wanna grow old with you~~~~

hahahahahah.
