CNY Trip To Japan (Kyoto)!

And so, we've finally arrived in Kyoto from Tokyo!

A new city that I haven been to; but I was told that you dont really have to spend too many days there. Just 2 or 3 will do:)

And yes, we spent 3 days there and it was more than enough! Hahaha. We've covered most of the places within 2 days! And we kept going back to the same place(Teramachi) again and again. :x

We were just staying opposite Kyoto tower:) Staying at Hotel Granvia Kyoto!

The location is by far the BEST! Directly at Kyoto station; 1 min walk to Kyoto station, 1 min walk to Isetan departmental store, 1 min walk to Kyoto Tower! lol. And the hotel price is REASONABLE! *wow*

Was told that "mom mom" in Kyoto is slightly different! And yeah, I couldn't really adapt to it! >.<

First day; we've covered Isetan, Kyoto Tower and Kyoto station:)

The very next day, we woke up early and headed off to Nishiki market!
*Cant wait for GOOD sashimi! Directly from the market!!!!*
But actually, they close at 6pm! LOL, So you dont really have to wake up extremely early! Hahah.

Was told that this hotel (Dont look down hor!!!), was one of the most expensive hotel in the city.

They only have a total of 3 rooms, in other words, it's v exclusive! And they really attend to your needs! If I'm not wrong, it has a history over 100 years?!

And I was righttttt... Indeed good meal! Heheheh.

Next, we headed to Teramachi! The shopping arcade! lol

Before I forget to mention, this is one of another MUST eat in Japan! They have MANY outlets too!

They serve mostly udon; and their udon is "Oh My God, super "Q" (if you know what it means)! My fav as well!!!! I can eat it once per day!!!!

Oh no.. Im missing it already:(

Oh! We also went to this Alaska Crab rest, that only serves Alaska crab:)

As seen from the above collage, everything thing about crabs; and also, it was my first time eating crab sashimi!! LOL, not quite used to it, but still ok la, taste kinda soft and slimmy? LOL.

 Thats all for Day 2!

And the last day before we head for Osaka,

Kinda walking around aimlessly AFTER popping by Teramachi, LOL, till we decided to visit a temple! :D

Loving the scenery!

XOXO!

Have a goodnight rest everybardy!

Let us all kill the Monday Blues! And oh ya! The naughty girl is attending school tml!! I'm so nervous yet excited! Hope everything goes well for her!!!

*Pray hard*

MY Chinese New Year In Japan (Tokyo) !

Haven't spent my CNY with my relatives for the past 2 years.

Last year, we went Europe (Austria, Paris, Rome, Barcelona and Milan), and this year, to Japan again!

Went Japan once when I was having Charlize, and we are back for the second time! Simply love the culture and food there! *plenty of hearts* for Japan! Hehehe.

But of course, it was a MUST to have an early reunion lunch/dinner with my beloveds :) *kisses*

Just realized, most of my relatives like wearing black. HAHA, or is this what you called, telepathy? lol.

Caught a red eye flight to Osaka, then domestic flight to Tokyo.

While waiting at the PPS Solitaire lounge...

And after a 7-8 hours flight, we are finally in TOKYO! YAY!

Shinjuku.
Somehow I felt that the streets are quite similar to Hong Kong, just that it is MUCH Cleaner, and of course, friendlier people around:)

One thing Im amazed by the Japanese; you know, it's so hard to find a dustbin! Japan is not like SG where you can find dustbins after dustbins. LOL. But yet, the streets are just SO clean! Too Clean! Japanese actually put the trash/rubbish back into their own bag and only throw it away when they see a dustbin! They must be really discipline to make this a habit! *CLAPS* for them!

Our first meal; I couldnt wait to taste any sashimi! lolol.

And this restaurant that we went(at Takashimaya), was such a killer.... zzZzZ
Yes, indeed they are fresh.......

But.....

It costs us about 400sgd++ !!!! Kinda shocked, and yes, our very first meal is the MOST expensive one we had throughout the entire Japan trip! T.T

Second Day!
Shopping around Tokyo station:))

The Tokyo Banana craze, but I did not buy any single banana. LOL. cos Im totally not a fan of banana and pastries! So, this Tokyo Banana is a "ewwwww" to me. :x

The bento shop! Diff kinds of Bento for you to choose!!
If only SG allows you to eat on the train/bus! All this Bento set looks so Yummy and convenient!!!

Calbee Potato chips as well! Fresh from the oven! hehhee. You can just purchase it from the Calbee Shop! All at Tokyo Station!

My Fav Coffee House in Japan:) Thank god they have it everywhere I go. Hohoho.

Well, they are not easy to locate, but I make it a must to find at least one store in Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto! Hehehehe.

You get to smoke in the coffee house as well! And we bought this cig that is similar to the Ice Blast we have in SG!!

There is 2 flavours that you can pierce to enhance the aroma! Spear Mint and Menthol!

No wonder they say Japan has very good ciggys! LOL.
After chilling at the coffee house, it was time to go "walk walk" again! ^^
Any strawberries lovers?? lol.

And my fav JIL Stuart!

Third day! We went Harajuku and Roppongi!

The beef; literally melt in your mouth! A must to eat when u visit Tokyo!!

Anddddd, of course, not to miss out Onsen before we head off to Kyoto!

Pick and choose your Yukata!

I used to think it's not easy to wear one, but I was wrong! Hahah.

There's a food hall, you can choose to "mum mum" first before heading for your massage/onsen:)

Game booth as well! LOL.
Foot bath as well:)
Brrr, it was too cold for me to head for the foot bath! LOL, pity I didnt get to try.. I guess Onsen was enough for me! Hahaha.

Everything went smoothly and we were just in time to catch our bullet train to Kyoto!

Stay tuned to my blog post on Kyoto!

XOXO

Hope you all had a happy week!
